On the morning of the 11th. October 2007 at 0400 AM the great man behind the fishes from the African Rift Lake Malawi, has passed away in his home.
For more than 3 decades his work at Kambiri Point, starting with an office in a small camper in the reeds of the lake, ending with a vast company with holding capability for thousands of fish, employing over 60 people at Kambiri and several divers in as distant locations as Likoma and Chilumba.
At his facility many people has had the pleasure of his presence, anecdotes, stories and jokes. Not forgetting his ever realistic and clear state of mind.

Under hösten 2000 bodde jag och M hos denna fantastiske man. Imorse gick han bort i sitt hem i en hjärtatack. Jag hoppas att hans fru tar över verksamheten med fiskodling och export. Verksamheten bidrar till mycket gott i ett av världens fattigaste länder (Malawi). M och jag har alltid drömt om att återvända till Afrika och till Stuarts ställe, jag hoppas att vi får möjlighet att göra det även om Stuart själv inte är i livet längre. Men så tragiskt. Hoppas någon annan kan fortsätta hans fiskarbete så det goda ur det består.
